We woke up just in time to see the sunrise through our bedroom window. I managed a pic from the door :-)

Sunrise... soon to change! |
I made coffee this morning and Kelly arrived at her chair as I finished stirring it... perfect timing! We texted with Kris in London and wished him a happy birthday.
I took a few moments to play with the Satellite remote and get the TV synced up for channels & sound. Easily done along with some personal preferences in the settings menu. All approved by Kelly of course.
We went to school on a previous visit here by Pat & Hartley and headed down to Tucson and the Pima Air & Space Museum. A quick & easy Highway 10 entry at 10am and in under an hour we were in the museum’s parking lot.
We toured the numerous building and I took lots of pictures along the way. It was a very nice exhibit that allowed you to get right up to the various planes. Lots of history here as a couple planes that I grew up learning about were on site. Also several newer designs in the Boeing 777 and 787.
We also signed up for a tour in a electric shuttle that took you all through the grounds (we could have walk it if we wanted to). Except for the poor sound system in the shuttle it was good.
Here are a few pics... not too many as to bore everyone. 😱

I have lots more but you get the idea:-) The A-10 squadron was up doing air work just north of the museum and it made for a great day of plane watching. I would love to take one up for a spin!
We left the museum at 2pm and drove into the Tucson Premium Outlets 16 minutes later. I wanted to “give back” so Kelly headed to several specific shops that she had scoped out. She made a couple purchases and was done in record time! I was impressed!!

Happy, Happy!! |
We backtracked a block or so to a Fry’s grocery store and grabbed some items. Kelly also found a mani/pedi place next door that took walk-ins so once the shopping was done, in she went.
I headed back down the street to the local Ace Hardware as I am on the hunt for a water meter.. but sadly, no joy. I returned and picked Kelly up and headed back to Picacho Peak State Park. Rains have moved in and the temperature has dropped to 13ºC as we endure our first rains since leaving Oregon.
Dinner was left over Tri-tip and some veggies. A little TV and then it was time for the rack.
