Day 24 - Another hobby day!

We woke up at 7:30 and I got the coffee going. For the first time this trip, we did not run any heaters through the night. Morning temperature was 13 degrees outside (low of 9) with 17 showing on our thermostat inside. Very comfortable indeed.

It was a bit strange not having our recent company occupying the main floor :-)

I took a shower and then started to charge up some batteries for today’s flying. With almost everything already in the truck, it was an easy departure for me. Kelly stayed behind and set up her sewing shop.

In 20 minutes I drove into the East Valley Aviators parking lot and unloaded my plane. There were about 7 or 8 guys there flying already with a couple precision aerobatic planes. John Bentley was already there and was ready to fly. 9I spent the day flying and getting aquainted with the layout. It’s flat :-)

I managed six rounds and worked on some of the knife edge elements of the sequence. It’s starting to come together but still need some position work.

I packed up and headed home with a quick stop at the local grocery store for bread, salad and some G2 Drinks. Going to be needing lots of liquids I suspect!

Once at the RV, Kelly showed me her handy work. A couple nice cosmetic bags (zipper pouches).

Hand made zipper bags.
We went for a bike ride around the property and then prepared some chicken with Caesar Salad for dinner. A quick game of Crib around the campfire (that Kelly barely won) and then inside for the last 5 minutes of Survivor! (She missed it….  argghh!)

This "Sunset" pic was stolen off the Friends of the Arizonian FB page!

Wow!
Dishes, blogging and a bit of TV then it was off to the rack. More hobbies tomorrow :-0
