The sound of ATV’s rippled through the RV Park as numerous guests headed out to drive into the foothills this morning. This park is one of a few that has direct access to the public lands that are used to get back into the high country. It certainly is popular here. I would say that over half of the people here have them. We can rent one for about $275 a day.... maybe... maybe not.
I grabbed a coffee and walked around the RV park, then over to the RC field. No one was there so back to our RV to get some jobs done.
I finished setting up the outdoor mat then got the bikes off the rack & washed them. I grabbed the ladder and cleaned all the RV windows. Kelly was on pins & needles waiting to hear if Lauren & Kyle would get on their flight. They are traveling on passes so there is an element of "risk". Good news! They managed to just get on the flight out of Vancouver to Phoenix so we will headed out to the airport later to pick them up.
We finished up some sorting & repacking to help make additional room for our guests.
Off we went as it’s approximately a 45 minute drive to the airport. We made good time and, after mastering the airport roadway, we then waited in the cell area for a "pick us up" text from Lauren.
Kelly watched the flight inbound on her FlightAware app and then we saw it land. Once the text messages started flying we reposition to the T3 Arrivals area and grabbed them. It was quick & easy and away we went.
They had not had lunch so we headed off to a local eatery called Fate Brewery. It was very good. Kyle had lost his jacket coming from the plane so he was busy calling Lost & Found. It's getting sorted as I type this.
After lunch, we headed back to the RV and then enjoyed the afternoon sun. A walk about the property before getting dinner started. Lamb Chops are on the menu tonight.
