I had the RC plane all ready but had to charge up a few batteries before we left. Kris had done a tenderloin in the sous vide so we thought we would do the same. It was entered on Kelly’s list.
Kelly dropped me off at the East Valley Aviators site and I spent the morning flying and conversing with the pilots. Rex Lesher from Oregon made it down and it was great to see him again. We had about ten precision aerobatic pilots there so it was constant action.
John Bentley helped me out with calling as I am trying to get the positioning correct in a few maneuvers. It all went well and a good practice session all around. I packed up and waited for my ride.

Peter's ride... flies nice although I am not a fan of pink. |

The F-21 schedule |
Back at the RV, we put all the food away and then started prepping for departure tomorrow. Bike’s on the rack, rearranged the plane and other boxes, filled the fresh water tank etc. I decided to charge my plane batteries tonight so I can get a few flights in tomorrow afternoon at the other RC field. We will move over in the morning.
Dinner was beef tenderloin with baked potato and salad… delicious.
Kelly juiced up the last of the oranges while I provided some trouble shooting “battery tech support” to a friend via messenger. All good!
A final walk around the park before some relaxing & then bed.
Reports from Disneyland have Lauren and Kyle tied on the pedometer with 50 million steps... well 31,500 but you get the picture. Glad to hear they are enjoying their Disney adventure!
